Proudly contributing to the success of the largest wind turbine tower manufacturing project in Asia-Pacific
Since July 2023, Weldcom has undertaken research, design, and completed construction of the Super-Sized Welding Gate system, an unprecedented scale in Vietnam. This technological solution was employed to manufacture wind turbine tower bases in an offshore wind power project led by the PetroVietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC), the project’s main contractor. The success of this scope has resonated strongly within the domestic mechanical community, paving the way for the future development of the electrical sector in Vietnam and solidifying Weldcom’s position as the main technology and service contractor.

From October 19th to 21st, 2023, Weldcom participated in the Hanoi International Industrial Products Exhibition 2023 (Hanoi MIP 2023) as a diamond sponsor. The event was organized by the Department of Industry and Trade in collaboration with HAMI and Keieijuku Vietnam. At this exhibition, Weldcom showcased impressive technological solutions and products such as the 3DLTS-CMM Measurement Solution, Hurco VM10I Vertical CNC Milling Machine, ABB Intelligent Gripping Robot Solution, Qjar Laser Welding Robot, and the 3kw Integrated Head Jasic Laser Welding Machine. During this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Hoang Vinh Sinh, lecturer at the School of Mechanical Engineering – Hanoi University of Science and Technology, also serving as the R&D Director at Weldcom, delivered a lecture introducing the 3DLTS-CMM Measurement Solution and received positive feedback from numerous attendees.
The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between Weldcom and Ngãi Cầu
Within the framework of this exhibition, Weldcom and Ngãi Cầu Investment Construction and Trading Joint Stock Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding for strategic cooperation. This collaboration aims to provide technological line consultancy, supply solutions and machinery, technical services, workforce training, and various other support.
Beyond active participation in events and exhibitions, the spirit of Keieijuku is deeply embedded in Weldcom’s operations and management through effective implementation of methodologies like 5S, Horenso, Kaizen.

In 2023, Weldcom celebrates its 18th anniversary, marking a milestone in its maturation. On September 16, 2023, Weldcom became the Secretary-General of the Northern Steel Structure Association. On October 5, 2023, Weldcom was acknowledged as an official member of the Hanoi Association of Major Industrial Product Manufacturing Enterprises (HAMI).

In its new capacity, Weldcom successfully organized the Weldcom Technology Day 2023, bringing together over 100 leading businesses in the mechanical and steel structure industry for networking, sharing insights, and fostering numerous collaboration opportunities. The event showcased impressive demonstrations of various modern equipment and trend-setting solutions such as laser cutting technology in structural steel fabrication, integration of robots in the process of increasing steel beam rigidity, and notably, the latest improved version of the Bruco BTMZ 1800TP-A2 intelligent welding gate, which garnered significant attention due to its enhanced performance, practical operational capabilities, and the economic aspect after investment.
